When is the best time to schedule my newborn session?

The best time to schedule your session is before your little one is born. Most clients book once they hit the third trimester. This way you can rest assured that your newborn photoshoot will occur within 2 weeks of birth, the very best time to get the sweetest photographs! I able to take only a limited number of newborn sessions per month so don't wait to reach out.

How do I book without knowing when baby will arrive?

Your session is reserved by your due date so we can be sure you are on my calendar for that month. Once baby is born and you are headed home, just send me an email and from there we’ll schedule your session date & time.

How soon should I have my newborn session after giving birth?

The sooner the better! Newborn photoshoots are best scheduled when baby is between 5-14 days old. Newborns tend to stay sleepy a few days after birth and because of this we are able to gently move your little one into sweet poses, ensuring their safety the whole time. After a couple of weeks, this is not as easy to do as they get strong and awake pretty quick.

Can I incorporate sibling and family photos with my baby?

Absolutely! Photographing your little one surrounded by family is an incredible experience for everyone involved. Parent + sibling photos are included with any session.

How long will my newborn photography session take?

Your session will take between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the type of session you book. We take time to allow for feeding and changing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable and the pace of our session will be determined by baby.

Where do the studio sessions take place?

Your session will take place in my private and cozy studio in Tigard, Oregon. Just bring yourself and your little bundle of joy and I'll take care of the rest. Rest assured, the studio is fully stocked with all the necessary props, toiletries, and snacks to keep you comfortable throughout our time together.

Who supplies all the cute hats/headbands for baby?

I do! The studio is fully stocked with outfits, flower crowns, bonnets, and the softest wraps to use as we like. If you have any special requests, just let me know!

​

 

What should we wear for the family pictures?

I want you to feel comfortable so I suggest wearing clothes that you can move freely in. Neutral colors and earthy tones photograph beautifully and show off baby well. You are also welcome to wear anything from my client closet for FREE. Just ask and I'll send over my Client Closet Guide!

How do I receive my photos?

You will be able to view your photos in an online gallery set up just for you! You will choose your favorite images from your session and they will be delivered in a final online gallery with an accompanying app you are able to download. If you ordered any additional prints, photobooks, or photo gifts they will be mailed directly to your home.

Do you offer Maternity Photo Shoots or Baby’s First Year plan?
